I am Greg Costello, owner of Floor Coverings International Cherokee. I was born in Pittsburgh PA into a military family and grew up in western PA, El Paso TX and Long Island NY before moving off to college in NC.  While in college at Belmont Abbey, Belmont NC, I joined the Army reserves, got a commission and became a Field Artillery officer.   After college I moved to Augusta GA, where I met the love of my life and we were married.  I accepted a job in sales, which turned into sales management, and moved my family to Chicago IL, Lawton OK, San Antonio TX, St Louis MO, and finally here to NW Georgia for the past 20+ years.   I spent 25 years as a VP of Sales for 3 different Fortune 500 Companies before buying my flooring franchise. My wife is an RN and we have 3 adult daughters.  My wife and I live in Lake Arrowhead (Waleska) with our 3 dogs and 1 cat.   We are actively involved in our church and with several organizations supporting adults with special needs. I enjoy anything outdoors, especially hiking, camping, SCUBA diving and kayaking. I love to read book and listen to podcasts on history, especially WWII.  I have over 450 SCUBA dives to include several open water shark dives, wreck dives, and cave dives.  I have 25 sky dives, including my 1st five at the US Army Airborne School, at Ft Benning GA.  As far as quirks….I don’t mind snakes, sharks, bears, bats or spiders…but roaches freak me out.  The key to a harmonious and happy life is to give more than you take.
